The piece weighs 2.8 grams and measures 1/2" x 3/4". Molten sterling silver, poured at over 1,640 degrees, fills a plaster mold under centrifugal force of roughly 50 G's — reproducing the rectangular shape of a traditional sushi plate and the individual pieces of nigiri arranged on its surface. After casting, each piece is hand-sanded and polished to a mirror finish. A sterling silver jump ring is attached and ready for wear.
