The flying reptile is modeled with its leathery wing membranes spread wide, the long skull and hooked predatory beak unmistakable in profile. Some species of these ancient fliers reached wingspans beyond thirty feet; this one spans a more wearable 3/4" in each direction and weighs 2.2 grams. It is solid .925 sterling silver, shaped by lost-wax casting and finished by hand in the USA, which is why no two come off the bench exactly alike.
