At 1.5 inches long and 0.625 inch tall, this is among the longest beads in our animal lineup, and the orca's sleek body is why the proportion works. The black-and-white patterning — saddle patch, eye spot, white belly — is laid down in clean, high-contrast glaze that won't muddy over time.
The horizontal length makes it a natural pendant: string one on a single length of cord and it swims right at the collarbone. The 2-3mm hole also welcomes leather and hemp for surf-style necklaces, and a pair makes dramatic shoulder-grazing earrings.
