The design begins as a hand-sculpted wax, invested in plaster and burned out at 1,350 degrees before molten .925 silver pours in at over 1,640. Hand-finishing then moves from coarse filing to fine rouge compound, leaving both figure and crescent gleaming. The result is a dimensional pendant measuring 3/4" by 1" and weighing 3.5 grams.
