The process behind it is lost-wax casting: a hand-sculpted wax hawk, encased in plaster, the wax burned away at 1,350 degrees and refilled with molten sterling silver. The finished charm measures 3/8" x 3/4", weighs 2.5 grams, and arrives with the jump ring already mounted. Made in the USA.
