The charm is produced by lost-wax casting, a technique whose roots stretch back some 6,500 years through the workshops of the classical world. A wax model is burned away at 1,350 degrees, and molten metal is forced into the empty mold, capturing every hammered facet in solid .925 sterling silver. At 7/8" x 5/8" and 3.3 grams, the piece reads clearly from across a room yet still feels at home on a wrist.
