Each piece is cast from a hand-carved wax model using the lost-wax method — molten silver at over 1,640 degrees Fahrenheit filling every smooth curve of the ovoid shape. The purple enamel is then applied by hand and kiln-fired to create a glossy, permanent finish that resists chipping and fading with everyday wear. The polished silver cap detail at the top contrasts cleanly against the colored body. The charm measures 3/8" x 5/8" and arrives with a sterling silver jump ring already attached.
