The figure began as a wax carving worked by hand, then packed in plaster and fired at 1,350 degrees so molten silver could take the wax's place. At 1/2" by 3/4" and 2.1 grams, the casting keeps the lean musculature of the original, and four rounds of progressive hand-finishing give the surface a depth no buffing wheel matches.
