Centrifugal casting at over 1,640 degrees, generating approximately 50 G's, fills each petal and crossbar completely in solid sterling. After cooling, hand-filing and progressive polishing bring out the contrast between the smooth cross surfaces and the textured rose petals — two distinct textures in the same piece.
