Made in the USA through the lost-wax process, the piece measures 1/2" x 3/4" and weighs 2.9 grams. The method begins with a hand-sculpted wax original encased in investment plaster, which is burned out before molten silver fills the void under roughly 50 G's of centrifugal force — a casting technique that has been in continuous use for approximately 6,500 years. Hand-finishing follows to bring out the surface definition.
