Only lost-wax casting makes the fine cage bars and the interior perched figure achievable — stamping or machine pressing cannot reproduce that level of three-dimensional interior structure. The thin silver bars, the domed top, the small bird inside: all were captured from a hand-sculpted wax original before the mold was fired and silver poured. Each piece is hand-polished to a bright finish after casting. Made in USA. A sterling silver jump ring is included and attached.
